When Sophia Mason was 17, she caught Meningococcal Meningitis. Within days she had both legs and several fingers and a thumb ampuated. Now, two years later she wants to ski on specially made artificial legs. 

Ray Edwards had both his arms and legs ampuated eight tyears ago, after cutting his finger and contracting septicaemia. He just wants to continue to enjoy work and swim with his new family.
