On the 11th September 2001, nineteen al-Qaeda hijackers snatched control of four passenger jets and committed the world's most destructive act of terror.
As television images of the burning twin towers in New York spread around the globe, normal life ended for many people and a series of events unfolded that would change the world forever.
Using first-hand testimony, this documentary pieces together the seismic consequences that have been keenly felt in many countries, by looking at just one.
This is what happened to the people of Scotland after 9/11, from the shock of the attack on New York's World Trade Center through brutal Islamophobic attacks, war in Afghanistan and Iraq, and increasing acts of terror that came closer and closer to home.
